High Densityx– a milestone in gearbox evolution

With the High Densityxconcept, Winergy achieved a new level of power density, reliability and efficiency at the time in 2017. This gearbox generation set market standards by increasing torque density by more than 25 percent while building on our proven gearbox design. It marked an important step in our continuous technology roadmap.

Higher Power Density Through Lightweight Design and Planetary Stages

The increase in power density was enabled by significant weight reduction and the use of multiple planets in three planetary stages for balanced ratio distribution. High Densityx covered the full portfolio from low-wind turbines to large offshore machines and helped optimize space and weight requirements in earlier turbine generations.

Building on this foundation, Winergy REVO now represents our latest gearbox generation.
